4 quick fixes for your wardrobe

Hi guys !
I'm so sorry I didn't blog in such a long time. I was really busy. Hope you guys understand.. (of course you do)

Okay..so today's post is for when you don't have time to keep your clothes in perfect order. Here are some solutions for your wardrobe problems.

TAPE IT : Keep a few strips of double-sided tape in your bag for use in emergencies. It will take care of drooping hem or secure a gaping neckline or unruly collar, or hold a dangling belt or a buttonless sleeve neatly in position.

AVOID IRONING MARKS : Make sure you turn your clothes inside-out to iron them, especially when pressing jacket sleeves and trouser legs. This will avoid any unsightly shiny patches ruining that perfect finish.

STEAM AWAY THAT SHINE: If after ironing dark trousers, they are shiny spots on the fabric, don't fret. Here's a rapid cure: mix 2 tablespoon distilled white vinegar with 10 tablespoons cold water. Dip a clean cloth into the mixture and use it gently blot the offending spots. Then switch on your steam iron, and holding it an inch or two above the fabric, pass it over the affected area several times. The steam will help the vinegar to break up the shine.

BLOT, DON'T RUB: If you notice a stain on your clothes, don't try to rub it off. All you'll do is damage the fabric and probably force the stain deeper into the weave. Instead, moisten some kitchen paper or a napkin with water and blot the stain gently to draw it off. Many people swear by using soda water- yes, the stuff you mix with drinks- rather than plain water.

Hope you guys found this helpful.
